When designing my travel bicycle, I realized there is a lack for user-center travel bike bags. Too many on the market are heavy, unwieldly when empty, and fail to pack a bike into a protective non-oversize bag. I decided to design my own. This travel bag expands into a lightweight but rigid 26” x 26” x 10” case to fit a coupled travel bike in a package small enough to avoid oversize luggage fees. It is also small enough to easily take your packed bike onto a train in Asia or Europe when it’s required to be in a bag. Additionally, this bag collapses when not being used to carry a bicycle into a manageable backpack as small as 26” x 10” x 3”. Not only is it collapsible, but it is also functional, with many straps and pockets to carry your overflow gear. Imagine landing in a new city and being able to quickly assemble your bike and easily ride off with all your belongings.
